For Small and Big Alike
At this year’s Data Centre World in Frankfurt, Datwyler IT Infra’s stand will focus on the company’s Smart Modular Data Centres (SMDCs) and connecting hardware for small and large data centres, as well as for medium- and high-density applications. Intelligent cabling solutions for AI data centres will also be the topic of a presentation.
Datwyler’s SMDCs are fully prefabricated plug-and-play solutions – from a single rack (up to 3 kVA) to ten racks with row coolers (up to 40 kVA). All of these solutions feature integrated power distribution, UPS, efficient cooling system, fire extinguishing system, airgap sealing and infrastructure management system. They are characterised by their scalability, operational reliability and energy efficiency. The multi-rack solutions offer users various redundancy options. Security features include integrated access control with card and keypad, intelligent PDUs and real-time status monitoring, ensuring reliable and secure operation.
Every SMDC can be tailored precisely to the user’s needs – fully integrated and from a single source. The entire infrastructure can be installed and commissioned within a few hours. Thanks to its modular design, it can be flexibly adapted to growing requirements later (“pay as you grow”).
The Smart Modular Data Centres achieve a power usage effectiveness (PUE) of up to 1.3. This low PUE is achieved through a highly efficient cooling system, optimised airflow and intelligent power distribution. This reduces energy consumption and the carbon footprint.
In addition, Datwyler will be presenting its FO-DCS, MD-DCS and HD-DCS cabling systems at the trade fair – future-proof, preassembled plug-and-go fibre optic solutions characterised by high-quality cables and components and high-precision connector assembly. Due to the outstanding optical and geometric values of the high-density systems, they are suitable for all current and future high-speed applications in small und large data centres. Modular components can be combined as required, thus providing users with a maximum in design flexibility.
On Wednesday, 6th May, Pius Albisser, Senior Solution Engineer for Data Centre Solutions at Datwyler IT Infra, will reveal how to properly wire an AI data centre in his presentation starting at 2:30 p.m. in the stream “Designing Tomorrow’s Data Centres Today”.
Active network technology
In addition to its modular data centre solutions, Datwyler IT Infra will be showcasing a compact, active network infrastructure for edge and access applications. This solution combines centralised routing, firewall and management functionalities with a high-performance switching layer and integrated PoE++ support. This allows end devices such as access points, cameras and other IP-based systems to be powered directly via the network and operated efficiently. The entire infrastructure is centrally controlled via a management platform, thus offering maximum transparency and control during operation. It is particularly suitable for networks in SMEs and mid-sized companies, for branch and site connections and in edge environments with high demands on simplicity, scalability and rapid deployment.
