On Stand K098, Gunnebo Entrance Control will showcase the SpeedStile™ FLS Max and HiSec2 portal. The global leader in entrance control solutions is looking forward to connecting with data centre security professionals and opening discussions around the evolving role of physical security in operational resilience.

As data centres continue to grow in scale and importance, the focus on who gets in - and how - is coming under renewed scrutiny. Gunnebo Entrance Control is responding to this shift with entrance control systems designed to support both secure and seamless movement throughout sensitive environments.

“Many operators are now realising that physical access is a risk they can no longer treat as secondary,” said Martin Hermann, Country Manager, Gunnebo Entrance Control. “This is especially as the latest 2024 IBM security report, 6% of data breaches occur due to physical security compromises. Whether it’s unauthorised entry or operational inconsistency, our systems are built to make movement through secure areas both traceable and dependable.”

The SpeedStile FLS Max is a high-performance speed gate that blends aesthetics, throughput, and detection accuracy. It’s designed for areas with high footfall, offering smooth access for authorised users while detecting tailgating or unauthorised attempts. With its compact footprint and integration-ready design, it’s well suited for shared data centre facilities and corporate zones.

The HiSec2 solution delivers a more robust option for areas that demand full-height physical protection and single-entry control - such as data halls, equipment zones, and restricted service areas.

“Good security is about control without friction,” added Enrique Viladomiu, European Sales Manager. “We’re looking forward to speaking with operators at Data Centre World about how smarter physical access can support safer, more efficient facilities.”

Gunnebo Entrance Control will run live demonstrations across the event, with technical staff available to advise on implementation strategies, system integration, and compliance-driven upgrades.  Positioning its entrance control solutions as essential infrastructure - it will enable visibility and control without disrupting flow or daily operations.

Gunnebo Entrance Control is exhibiting on stand K098 at Data Centre Frankfurt, taking place 4 – 5 June 2025 at Messe Frankfurt.
