Leitart introduces Data+ MCP Writeback: Bridging the gap between AI and business execution
This vision led to the development of Data+, a suite designed to bring data entry, workflows and process execution into the Qlik Sense environment.
Today, data entry has become one of the most important value drivers for Qlik users. By enabling writeback, organizations can move from passive reporting to active process control — from data analysis to Data in Action.
Users can start small, for example by adding comments, deadlines or responsibilities directly into existing processes. At the same time, Data+ allows companies to go much further — building full business applications for financial planning, shopfloor management, incident handling and more. “With Data+, it’s ultimately up to the customer how far they want to go,” says Sebastian Nädtke, Managing Director of leitart. “You can start with simple inputs or build fully integrated business applications — all within your existing data platform.”
With the emergence of AI and conversational interfaces, however, a new challenge has appeared. While insights can now be generated instantly, execution often remains disconnected — shifting the problem from “stuck in analytics” to what could become “stuck in chat, agents or conversations.” Leitart addresses this next stage with the introduction of Data+ MCP Writeback. By combining Qlik MCP with Data+ MCP, the solution creates a unified layer where AI-driven interactions directly trigger structured data updates and business processes. Inputs generated through conversational interfaces can be written back into applications in real time, enabling immediate execution without manual intervention. “The real value of AI is not the answer — it’s what happens next,” explains Achim Gnadt, Managing Director of leitart. “With Data+ MCP Writeback, we ensure that insights don’t remain in conversations, but become part of operational processes — fully traceable through an integrated audit trail.”
This approach eliminates media breaks and enables organizations to execute decisions directly where the data lives. Whether updating planning data, enriching operational datasets or triggering workflows, actions can be performed seamlessly within a single environment. The introduction of Data+ MCP Writeback reflects a broader shift in the market: from analytics and dashboards towards integrated data platforms that combine insight generation, data entry and execution. Leitart will showcase the solution at Big Data & AI World Frankfurt, where visitors can experience how conversational AI is transformed into real business action.
