Planning ahead of an intervention becomes significantly easier: even before working at the rack, technicians can prepare in advance. The entire workflow, including all dependencies, can be analyzed beforehand to avoid surprises on-site. For work at the rack, technicians can directly access the digital twin, which displays systems and their status in real time. They simply scan the code attached to the rack. Additional descriptions and documentation are immediately available.

Using augmented reality (AR), images of the rack and its cabling are overlaid. Devices or connections requiring special attention are highlighted, enabling tasks to be completed more efficiently. For more complex tasks, step-by-step AR instructions provide valuable guidance, reduce errors, and shorten training times.

Existing DCIM task management systems or tools such as ServiceNow or Jira can be seamlessly integrated. Existing processes can be maintained and enhanced with modern visualization and AR capabilities. After successfully completing a task, image-based proof can be documented directly within the module. All changes are captured on-site via DC Vision and transferred to connected management systems such as DCIM and CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
