Long term protection is provided by use of high concentrations of corrosion inhibitors, equal to JEFFCOOL® ISF-55 but at a lower concentration of propylene glycol to provide higher heat transfer rates in situations where a higher freeze point is acceptable. The propylene glycol base used in JEFFCOOL® ISF-25 fluid is generally suitable for applications in which toxicological considerations are critical.

Both JEFFCOOL® ISF-55 and JEFFCOOL® ISF-25 share the same maximum temperature, but JEFFCOOL® ISF-25 is preferred for enhanced efficiency due to its higher thermal conductivity and heat capacity, especially when the low-temperature freeze point of JEFFCOOL® ISF-55 is unnecessary.
