The Kunkle 140 is a stainless-steel
liquid relief valve with a side outlet suitable for a variety of applications
up to 300 psig (20.7 barg). It features a compact design that minimizes
required installation space, making it well suited for applications where space
constraints are a concern. Its angle‑lapped seat design ensures tight shutoff
performance, helping to reduce leakage and maintain reliable pressure relief
operation. Each valve is thoroughly tested and inspected to verify pressure set
points and leakage integrity prior to shipment, ensuring dependable operation
in service. The valve is available with a female NPT inlet option, providing
flexibility for integration into a wide range of piping configurations. The
Model 140 is designed to tolerate a maximum back pressure of 50 psig (3.45
barg).
