Alexander is a dynamic Supply Chain Specialist at Mercury, bringing over four years of international experience in strategic procurement, supplier relationship management, and operational excellence. Based in Dublin, Ireland, Alexander leads sourcing strategies across all countries where Mercury operates, playing a key role in optimizing global supply chain performance. At Mercury, Alexander has developed and implemented a strategic sourcing model that has streamlined operations and enhanced commercial outcomes. Alexander’s leadership in supplier engagement, pre- and post-tender strategies, and performance management has significantly improved bid success rates and supply chain resilience. He is also the architect behind Mercury’s supplier pre-qualification and performance systems, ensuring consistent value delivery and high standards across projects. Prior to this, Alexander served as a Corporate Strategy and Risk Management Associate, where he supported internal audits, procurement operations, and risk assessments. His early career includes roles in market research and international sales coordination, equipping him with a broad commercial perspective and a deep understanding of emerging markets. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management with a specialism in Marketing from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School), London.
