Dean Richards was appointed Geschäftsführer and Co-CEO of Piller Group GmbH in April 2026, following his tenure as President and CEO of Piller Power Systems Inc., the group’s US subsidiary, a role he held from 2010. With over 30 years of global engineering experience, Dean’s expertise includes voltage instability, harmonics, and transient load behaviour, with a focus on complex AI-related transients and dynamic load steps for AI-driven data centers and behind-the-meter power architecture. Dean is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a first-class degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Swansea University.
