Dr. Chantal Spleiss is an AI expert and full-time senior consultant specialising in compliance and cyber security for the pharma and medtech industries. With a background spanning life sciences, technical domains and industry, she bridges innovation and regulation with clarity and precision. Chantal brings a sharp strategic mindset and is known for translating complex topics into actionable outcomes. She currently serves as co-chair of the AI Governance & Compliance Workgroup at the Cloud Security Alliance and runs an agricultural business in Ontario, Canada. Her recent work includes three CSA white papers – foundational pieces on AI risk management and dynamic processes for AI implementation – as well as speaking engagements, contributions and reviews of multiple white papers, and a range of thought-provoking blogs on AI governance, industry applications and even thoroughbred breeding.
