With an extensive international career, Ed is passionate about advancing technical integration and sustainability within the industry. He values simplicity and pragmatism, which is reflected in his numerous published technical papers on topics such as critical facilities design, power reliability, AI, sustainability, and future trends. As a regular keynote speaker at data centre events worldwide, Ed continuously shares his insight and knowledge. In 2014, Ed received an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry at Datacenter Dynamics, recognising his exceptional impact. He now leads Ramboll’s Data Centre Design Technology Council and holds two patents relating to critical power system automation.
