Heiko joined Boehringer Ingelheim in 2018 taking over the responsibility to establish self-service analytics in Boehringer Ingelheim and streamline the tool landscape. Since 2022 he obtains the role as Head of Data Science Academy & Product Teams to develop and implement in a cross-functional setup the initiative to foster data literacy and citizen data science across the company. In this position Heiko manages also a team of data scientists that is engaged in several digital product teams driving innovation in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Heiko worked in the airline industry and as management consultant with experience in business intelligence, analytics, project management and digital transformation.
