Maja Sdrakas is Executive Director and heading the Data as a Service department at Deutsche Börse Group within the CTO area. She leads the transformation of modern technologies for data services in a highly regulated capital markets environment. Maja is responsible for managing critical systems and running applications in the cloud and on-premise, ensuring the highest availability and compliance with regulatory standards. She oversees the central data governance function, providing data management standards and policies, and facilitating collaboration across entities. Maja drives the development and operation of data platforms, including a group-wide Data Mesh, and supports the business in monetizing data through advanced analytics capabilities and distribution of data products to Deutsche Börse customers.
