Olaf Pursche is an IT Security Consultant, Trusted Advisor, and communications expert. Since April 1, 2026, he is the founder of Pursche Tactical Consulting & Communications, where he advises companies on cybersecurity, communication, and strategic positioning. He previously served as CCO at AV-TEST and Head of Marketing & Communications at SITS Group from 2015 to 2025. Prior to that, he worked 15 years at COMPUTER BILD, where he built and led the IT security editorial and testing division, and wrote as an IT journalist for leading publications including PCpro, BILD, Welt, c't, iX and others. He is Director of the Security Competence Group at the eco Association of the Internet Industry and served on several advisory boards, including the Federal Office for Information Security.
