Pheline Binz has been part of Aareal Bank’s Chief Data Architecture division as Director Enterprise Architecture since 2024. In this role, she is responsible for the further development of the company-wide data and enterprise architecture, supports strategic transformation initiatives, and defines standards for data quality, data governance, and data architecture. Before joining Aareal Bank, she held positions at Capgemini, Accenture and Commerzbank, accumulating more than 15 years of experience in data architecture, data analysis, enterprise architecture, and strategic IT transformation. Her academic background includes a German Diploma in Biochemistry (University of Bielefeld and the University of Notre Dame, IN, USA), a Master of Arts in Sound Studies (University of the Arts Berlin), and an MBA (ESMT Berlin). This interdisciplinary foundation shapes her approach: by deliberately looking beyond traditional boundaries, she applies architectural thinking in innovative ways to her projects.
