My name is Thomas Hofbauer, and I have been part of SCHÄFER IT-Systems since 2022. I started as a Senior Consultant in the Edge Computing division; today, I lead the Product Management team and am responsible for the further development of our portfolio for modern IT infrastructures. My professional career began in 1997 in the power supply and data centre industry, where I worked for many years in development and later in international product management. There, I was responsible for solutions in the area of rack PDUs as well as uninterruptible power supply products – experiences that have had a lasting impact on my technical and strategic expertise. I hold a degree in electrical engineering and the title "Master Professional of Technical Management". Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and am passionate about sport and music. With over 30 years of experience in power distribution, IT infrastructure, and edge computing, I am committed to driving innovative solutions and actively shaping the future of modern data centre and edge technology.
