Enterprise process optimisation increasingly relies on artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve decision-making. However, the widespread adoption of AI in enterprise environments is constrained by the ‘black-box’ nature of many high-performing models, which lack transparency and interpretability. We investigate whether AI agents and agentic reasoning can address the black-box problem in enterprise process optimisation.
